Hi, I'm James McGhee, the Cake Designer and proud founder of WOW Bakery. My love for baking began early—standing on a kitchen chair, reaching for the flour canister, and dreaming up sweet creations. That childhood curiosity grew into a full-blown passion, and in 2009, it truly began to blossom.

It all started with a wedding cake for a friend. I had no idea what that one cake would spark. But as the room filled with smiles and compliments, I realized I had a gift worth sharing. From that moment on, I began crafting cakes not just for taste, but for the love of the art—and WOW Bakery was born.

People often ask me, “Why the name WOW Bakery?” I usually just hand them a cupcake. When their first reaction is “WOW,” I smile and say, “That’s exactly why.”

Today, WOW Bakery operates as a boutique in-home bakery based in Bentonville, Arkansas. I believe every dream starts somewhere small—and with faith, passion, and purpose, it grows. I keep God first in all I do, and I know that one day, WOW Bakery will be a name people recognize and celebrate.
